Trip Schedule: From Dawn to Dock
We meet at Shallowbag Bay Marina promptly at 4:00 am. As the crew prepares the Fat Bottom Girl for departure, you'll have time to load your gear, find a seat, and experience the excitement of the dock before dawn.

Safety is our first priority. Once you're settled, Captain Danny will provide a full safety briefing, including life vest locations and deck protocols, ensuring everyone is comfortable before we leave the sound.

From Shallowbag Bay to the Gulf Stream
The journey begins in the early morning dark as we leave the marina, heading through the sound toward Oregon Inlet. Crossing the bar is the final threshold before we hit the open Atlantic. Once offshore, the boat makes a powerful 30–40 mile run to reach the vibrant bluewater fishing grounds where the Gulf Stream meets the shelf.
